It was my friend’s birthday on Saturday, so I decided to make her a simple quilted throw. I finished on Saturday evening, right before her party. I wrapped it in a box and tied a pretty bow around it. She loved it!

It is beautiful! I love the colors. I am so envious of folks like you and my mom who can whip up a quilt in a weekend…..takes me much longer…..
I do like quilts, but could you print less quilting projects in the magazine. If I simply wanted quilting, I would subscribe to one of the many quilting magazines. How about more “weekend projects”? Meaning shorter project time. Mix it up. Things for the home, simple baby projects, curtains, gifts, etc. Just some food for thought.
I agree with Stephanie. There are many quilting mags but not sewing ones. I don’t quilt, don’t want to, am not at all interested. Sewing projects should be in sewing magazines
