    Denim Jean Dress with and for my grand daughter. Got her a machine this year and we are doing sewing lessons weekends and during the school Holiday break.

    I am making little one-zies out of soft denim with a closing in the back. Pink bandana material makes cap sleeves and western yokes in the front and back. Along the bottom back, across the diaper area are 3 rows of pink bandana ruffles for our little cowgirls here in small town Texas. (: Of course we have to have a bandana cap to match! (:

    I’m making paper pieced ornaments that have a “pouch” in the back to hold a gift card.
    Making shopping bags for DIL. She is into the green movement. Great use of fabric I fell out of love with.

    I’ve made a tote bag for my sister-in-law; two georgeous funky pillows out of Amy Butler fabric for my daughter and am going to do some monogrammed towels for her as well. I made 6 cosmetic bags for friends and a few chequebook holders and change purses for other friends. The cosmetic bags and chequeholders were all out of my stash, so that is a bonus. I prefer sewing out of my stash – buy on sale, percolate ideas and then go for it!! Also made 3 dog stockings and 5 stockings for my family…..I’m having a ball, and still have a week+ to go!!

    I just finished quilting and binding a tablerunner for my best sewing buddy. She saw it last March when we were shopping but didn’t buy it because her husband was being a ____. I bought it when she wasn’t looking.

    I am making the ear warmers that fit over baseball caps. I’m embroidering them with designs that I bought online.I’m also making in the hoop gift bags with Christmas trees on them.

    I made a set of 10 “Santa” napkins to give as a gift to the French family which we will be staying with during the week of Christmas. I thought something homemade would be appropriate as a gift from a houseguest, plus the napkins are quite clever in their design, and can be used every year as a reminder of our special visit.
