My favorite quick and easy project right now is simple wallets. The new pattern is beautiful!
Doll dresses, the simple sleeveless kind. So fast and easy, but with the right fabric scraps they bring a light and a smile to any little girl, and some grown women too! It’s also a great way to use up leftover fabric bits, or to make a cute keepsake out of a child’s favorite outgrown clothing item.
My favorite project would have to be pillows. They are quick and easy but can be dressed up so many ways.

My favorite, when I need something with a great presence, is a Susan Fuquay pattern called “Hearts for You.” It was given as a freebie in shops years ago and works into a small wall hanging that I can hand applique and get done in 2 days.

My favorite quick sewing project is a wrap around skirt.
I like to do the small purses with a strap that I can wear when shopping. Leaves my hands free and it is safe.

I love to do photo pillows for friends. I print the selected photo on fabric, then design a pillow sized quilt top with the photo in the center or wherever. I then stitch it all together. These are always well-received and I get to try different quilt block patterns without the obligation of a whole quilt! Oh, I also get to practice my free motion quilting on a small project!
Wine bags are so simple and quick for an easy way to dress up a hostess gift. I love playing with fun fabrics and cording/ribbon!
My favorite quick sew are baby blankets and comfort blankets. Both bring happiness and comfort to both me as the giver and the either a new mom or someone who is going through a tough time. Its shows the person just how much you care about them.
My fave simple sewing project is a cloth napkin. We stopped using paper napkins at our house in an effort to stay green, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through my stash for fabric to make napkins.
One of mine would be Oven Door Dresses! They are so fun & easy to make and are too cute! Everyone LOVES them! I can whip up one in no time for a quick gift.

Laptop sleeves…they are so easy and yet they can be embellished in many different ways! I love to embroider initials on them.

Pillowcases! They are quick and easy on the surger or sewing machine. Ronald McDonald House in Lansing, MI can always use them.
I make a quick tote bag with a lining. Takes about 40 minutes if I do not have to make the straps. I also make a 1.5 yds baby blanket that is a quick gift.

Recently, tissue holders. The make up fast, you can match fabrics, and everyone likes them. The only problem-I can’t keep tissue packs because I keep giving them away!
OH, I love to make any type of bag. Quick and easy ones are my “mag bags.” I love to read, and they are quick and easy, can hold a few magazines or books, and can be so cute! I love to give them as gifts.
