    Have always liked Simplicy patterns and almost any type of pattern/idea book! :)

    I like vogue patterns because they are edgy and stylish. They also inspire me to use McCalls, Simplicity, New Look etc. patterns in different ways, to play with different fabrics and patterns etc.

    It just depends on the look I’m going for. Simplicity and McCalls are very traditional and have easy to follow directions. Kwik Sew is the height of simplicity. And I love Burda for it’s funky designers. So I love them all, each in their time.

    I don’t usually use commercial patterns, but when I have had to I’ve always gravitated toward Simplicity patterns. They are easy to follow and the instructions are easy to follow.

    Ive been sewing for a loooong time and I always seem to go back to good old Simplicity. Easy to follow instructions and easy to customize

    My favorite patterns for my daughter are Patty Young’s Modkids, and Farbenmix/Studio Tantrum/Sewing Clothes Kids Love book for both both my kids!

    I tend to sew the patterns from Vogue women for myself, but for other projects I go to all of the pattern companies. I choose patterns based on uniqueness.

    I have two favorites….Simplicity and McCalls! Love their patterns! Their instructions are easy to follow and they have a broad selection of cute patterns!

    Our local stores only carry Simplicity/McCall/ Butterick/Vogue, some places now have Kwik Sew,, but my favourite is Simplicity

    I love Simplicity patterns best. They also have quick responses for any issues you encounter. I also use Butterick and McCalls sometimes, but I like Simplicity best. Less pieces make for easy go together projects.

    I have always liked the way Butterick patterns fit me. When I was sewing for my children I used McCalls, Simplicity and Butterick. I am having another grandchild so this book would be fun to have.

    I’ve been sewing for 45 years & don’t have a favorite. It just depends on the project I plan to work on & the pattern that best suits the situation. But I sure enjoy looking through all the books for the “right” pattern!!

  47. I have been sewing for 34 years. Talent runs in the family back to my Grandmoms. Simplicity has always been my favorite!! Ask my friends. When they want me to make them something, first word out of my mouth is “SIMPLICITY”

    I can go through Sewing patterns, catalogues or anything related to it 24 hrs ………… It is my passion!
