We just got back from the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Atlanta and are about to head out to the Chicago OSQE on March 31st.

    It’s been years since I was near one but when I did go it had a wonderful selection of vendors, new items, great prices on daily needs and a bunch of super classes!

    I have never been lucky enough to have attended one. I am not sure there is even one in my area. But if I ever get chance to go to one I would love to attend one. I am always looking for ideas and new ways to do my sewing

    Meeting book authors as well as pattern designers. So nice to talk to them and ask how they get their ideas. I didn’t even know the first time I went to Puyallup that they had fabric available until I had spent most of my $$ so I only got 1 piece. :( now I know better tho!

    Love the classes–I go to the Sewing Expo in Cleveland every year for two days of classes. The teachers are fantastic and I pick up new ideas and techniques in every one. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.

    I love it all, but I am especially excited to see how much interest in sewing, quilting and using these kind of skills since the rest of the world seems to not really be interested in sewing.

    Only attended Quilt Expo’s I love seeing all the spectacular Quilts which give me inspiration, love the merchant stalls would love to attend a show like they have in your country.

    Anything that has a hands on, classes, make and takes, etc….I love to try(get a taste of) new techniques, without having to invest a lot of cash right off the bat. After that, if the technique grabs my interest…I’m off to the second favorite thing!

    Since they do not hold sewing expo’s in rural area, I have never had the opportunity to attend one. But I would like to attend one just for the ideas.

    I try to attend every year. Favorites: Taking classes, buying products from vendors, the daily drawings, checking out new embroidery machines (bought one in 2005), seeing all the people being courteous to everyone.

    Just got back from the one in Lakeland. I liked the Make and Take workshops although I just watched, looking at the awesome vendors, making new friends. Lots of courtesy!
