    I love the inspiration of ideas going to all the exhibits! Also, I can plan my next equipment purchase. :)

    I love looking at all the new products. I have to remember to take notes of where I saw what, because you forget and then you can’t find whatever the new thing that you found was. Often, it will be something that I haven’t even thought of wanting before, but then I have to have it. It has been furniture, posture helps, threads, fabrics, kits, sewing machines, embroidery aids and the list goes on. I also enjoy the exhibits. I learn a lot there, too.

    I just got back from the Expo in Lakeland, FL. I love the classes, all the new gadgets and the beautiful fabric :)

    The show in Atlanta was great (as usual). My favorites are the displays of beautiful quilts, all of the fabrics and the new products. I have been going for the past 4 years and look forward to going. I never fail to put on my must go to calendar.

    The most exciting part to me is the atmosphere, it’s electric! Everyone talks and comments to each other, it’s so fun to be part of. Of course, who doesn’t love vendors and exhibits.

    Never been to a quilt expo,only quilt shows. I love to see all the new gadgets and tools, fabrics, and the people. I guess I like checking out the vendors and seeing what’s new. I like getting away for a little while! I like bags, so I think this is sooo cute!!

    My favorite part is the free mini-lessons that one can take when going from booth to booth. The hands-on ones are the best, but also like the short classes. Would really like to attend the one in Novi again this year.

    I wish there would be one close enough in our area. I would be in heaven to be in the midst of all of that! I am such a novice that it would be a dream come true to watch the hands-on trainings and be able to ask questions…and see all of the new “stuff”!!!

    Since I’m a newby to the creating/crafting and sewing worlds I like to meet people with experience. I’m always impressed with the talents and new ideas that are shared. I love learning new techniques, well new things In general. I also like the ability to buy unique fabrics and tools that aren’t available in my area.

    Any new experience giving me a chance to learn more about sewing is amazing. Sadly, for me, I’ve never had the pleasure of attending one… sounds like I’m missing out on alot of new and exciting things!

    Unfortunately I have never been to one. The closest I have come to anything like it is a Christmas craft show in Ottawa almost 20 years ago and I was especially drawn to the quilter booths… I think that is what inspired me to learn to quilt!

    Will be going this week to Cleveland. What’s not to enjoy!! I get time away with my gal pals, seeing new machines, fabrics, ideas, new twists on old projects, great things to buy. Classes and classes and classes! Now to just take some! Meeting new faces and seeing many ol’ friends who LOVE sewing just as much as I do!!!!

    It’s so exciting to see the passion for sewing that attendees have.
    In Atlanta we see sewing friends taking classes together since the first expo 15 years ago. Lots of shopping and fun. Don’t miss their October show in Atlanta!

    I have been to the one in Madison, WI and in Twin Cities. They were both great. It is fun to see what is new? And there are good deals there.

    My favorite part is the feel/sight/smell of fabrics–textures sp rich they almost BEG to be touched!

    I love finding huge packages of zippers for so cheap and buying all the beautiful fabric that I just can’t find at chain craft stores.
    Oh, and meeting the editor of Sew News at the Atlanta show this year wasn’t too bad either. ;)

    The creative atmosphere starts your mind whirling with ideas. Everyone there wants to be there and are willing to share their tragedies as well as the triumphs.

    I have never been to a sewing expo but I think I would love the many different ideas, notions, and expert secrets that I would experience. I am looking forward to an expo coming to my area so I can check it out.

    Vendors and demonstration from very creative people. Very inspiring just to walk through the expo. There is so much you can attend and learn from the expo. I would encourage anyone that can needs to go to one.

    It is a dream of mine to go and spend lots of time looking at all the quilted items to see what inspiring ideas others have working in creating unique quilts. It would be better than “Queen for a day”!!! However, I am on a very limited income and could never afford a trip like this (unless I won it!).

    My favorite part about a sewing expo is how fast my head can turn trying to take in all the new items that are being exhibited, the books and the seminars that is being conducted. I am always amazed at how many people are sewmanics like me! Yeah!

    I have never went to one, but I have went to flea markets, and what I gather is it is similar and I love it. All the new and wonderful things to purchase or learn about. Where I live in Northern Alberta we have limited supplies or stores to purchase a variety of sewing notions or supplies. Attending one of these events is one of my dreams.
