paper piecing
I would love to see reviews of products. Like recommondations on sewing machines to rotary cutters\mats, cutting machines, scissors. Pro’s and Con’s. I think it would be so helpful. Different craft rooms with the owners take on storage solutions. Also vote for bias tape. It defeats me.
Crocheting on the sewing machine.
Color selection, coordination, and balance.
Making swimsuits that fit properly. How to use swimsuit elastic, fitting bra’s into the suit, getting a proper body fit. I am not a large woman, but neither am I small…finding a swimsuit suitable for public wear has been a nightmare!
I always see how to get perfect corners with binding, but nothing on how to get it when you turn it to the back.
Machine embroidery on clothing.
How about machine embroidery? It is getting really popular. It doesn’t have to be with an embroidery machine, you can use “free motion” embroidery with your sewing machine to do some kewl embellishments on items you already have. Great for back to school to revamp last years favorites.
Working with linings is my vote.
What is the best way to use Crazy quilt technique to make a purse?
Fabric dyeing and incorporating found objects into projects.
Buttonholes made super fasssttt! I try to avoid them & would like a much easier & faster way. Also faster way of putting zippers in.
ZIPS – how to actually sew these suckers in, without all the hassles !!!
Pattern sizes. I can never figure out what size pattern to buy. Even with multiple pattern sizes in the same envelope, I still have trouble figuring out which size will work best.
free motion quilting
paper piecing
Altering ready to wear, for short height (petite) larger lady
Buttonholes and putting zippers in. I can do it but not with any speed.
in the hoop projects
Inserting invisible zippers
I would like to see some tips on the perfect buttonhole and the art of putting in a zipper.
Thanks.
I would like more info on different sewing feet. I would like to know where to purchase them for certain machines and more on how they are used. Also, more on sergers. I have one but do not know how to use it.
More on narrow hemming foot and also on the teflon foot use.
Would love to see more programming on how to adjust size on patters for specific body types.
i would love to see basic pattern making and some draping episodes
