Sadly, no. My machine was purchased in 1985 and while it sews great, I would love to update but cannot afford to do so yet.
Probably. Would like to get one easier to carry to class. I have an emb/sewing machine but it’s expensive & heavy. Not great for travel.
My serger that I bought in 1990, the tension on 1 dial quite,( no parts available) so I bought a new one last year…also bought a new computerized sewing machine a couple of years ago…but I would really like to buy an embroidery machine !
While my 30-year-old Elna is a reliable workhorse, I wouldn’t mind a newer machine with a wider zigzag capability if the budget allows.
YES!!!! it’s gonna be my birthday & christmas gift combined…there’s a limited edition quilter/sewing machine at walmart that i want…it also has some embroidery features…would love a separate embroidery machine tho, but the quilter/sewing machine does have some different letter styles included
I bought a serger and janome jem last year so no new machine in the foreseeable future, but you never know what’s around the corner!

I have 2 Berninas; one is my ‘workhorse’ that I have had for many years and it stays home. The second one is portable and only weighs about 13 pounds… so it goes with me to classes. Between the two, it meets all my sewing needs — *-)
I am not planning to buy a new machine this year or for several years as I have a relatively new Bernina QE that I just love. I haven’t yet learned all that it can do, so that is my first priority.

I took advantage of my local dealer’s floor model sale and just scored a new Bernina Aurora 440QE complete with embroidery module. I am in sewing heaven!!!!
Sadly, no new machines in sight. I have two Berninas, one 30 years old and the other 12 years old. And a fairly new babylock serger. So, I’m good for now. Sure wish my daughter would get a sewing machine though!
