  2. Sonia says:

Probably. Would like to get one easier to carry to class. I have an emb/sewing machine but it’s expensive & heavy. Not great for travel.

  3. Sherry Mitchell says:

My serger that I bought in 1990, the tension on 1 dial quite,( no parts available) so I bought a new one last year…also bought a new computerized sewing machine a couple of years ago…but I would really like to buy an embroidery machine !

  4. Evelyn says:

While my 30-year-old Elna is a reliable workhorse, I wouldn’t mind a newer machine with a wider zigzag capability if the budget allows.

  5. ally says:

YES!!!! it’s gonna be my birthday & christmas gift combined…there’s a limited edition quilter/sewing machine at walmart that i want…it also has some embroidery features…would love a separate embroidery machine tho, but the quilter/sewing machine does have some different letter styles included :)

I have 2 Berninas; one is my ‘workhorse’ that I have had for many years and it stays home. The second one is portable and only weighs about 13 pounds… so it goes with me to classes. Between the two, it meets all my sewing needs — *-)

  19. Linda Olson says:

I am not planning to buy a new machine this year or for several years as I have a relatively new Bernina QE that I just love. I haven’t yet learned all that it can do, so that is my first priority.
