I need help with zippers. I rarely do them so I’m not good at them at all!
I used to have to read about binding corners, but have that down now. Now I have to read about methods for cutting and sewing borders evenly (measuring quilt in several areas).
I have only been sewing quilts, tablerunners etc. “Y” seams. I always need to review before I sew. I’d love to sew some simple garments but have not done so for many years. I would need a book within my reach before I’d start for sure.
Thanks for the giveaway and chance to win.

I haven’t sewn much in the last couple of years so i would be reviewing things like collars and fitting
I’ve been unemployed for 2 years and really picked up my sewing. I’ve experimented with new techniques and am so happy with how much nicer my garments are now. I’d really like to learn some more techniques, tips, and try new things.
well, quite a lot because I’m rather new to sewing and using a sewing machine. I read a lot of blogs and watch videos for how-to’s!
I always have to read the directions for collars several times before I attempt them!
My biggest challange is always buttonholes…I always double check the proper technique before tackling them.
I always start to review with pattern adjusting, as my grandchildren will be in different size by the time I finish one outfit and with my yo yo weight I always end up with pattern adjusting. If the pattern cut right, fitting is right. I have been watching Sewing with Nancy ever since she started the show back in the 80′s. I have learned a great deal of sewing from her.
Zippers, binding, proper needle and thread to use with my fabric.
My new sewing room would be filled with everything magical to make a woman feel beautiful!
I keep Nancy’s “Fabulous Feet” next to my sewing machine because I can never remember the settings for my feet.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway.

Getting back into sewing after a really long time I tend to look everything up. But mitered corners, buttonholes, and anything embroidered sends me to books or notes. Thank you for all the opportunities to visit interesting bloggers!
For the longest time I wouldn’t sew anything that required a zipper. Then I finally tackled it and finally have basic zipper installation figured out, but I still have to reference how to finish the ends. I struggle with the little tab, or do I tuck the end in, and how does it stay?.. UGH! Thanks for the chance on the book. I’d make very good use of it, for sure!
I don’t get to sew often enough, so I reference everything: buttonholes, zippers, facings, sleeves, mitered corners, pinning a hem, anything I need to do. I would love to win this book. Everybody knows that if it comes from Nancy Zieman, it is the best instruction you can get.

ALL OF THEM! I really need all the help I can get and a book with pictures would be GREAT!
I always need help with zippers & button holes. I just cant seem to wrap my head around how to do them.
A handy refenece book would be great, for me I haven’t made a buttom up shirt because of the buttonholes. I suppose it is like anything in life the more you practice the better you get and remember how to do it. I have to admit I call my mother because she is so far away and following what she is telling is hard at times. I need the pictures.
I always pull out my reference books and magazines to look for embellishments -
nice to get a new idea, or just find a picture of something I had forgotten about -
this can be for a garment, or tablerunner, or quilt, whatever I might be working on.
I don’t really need to reference unless it’s something new, like special hand stitches or decorative stitches. Probably I would need some tips if I ever start to make that long leather trench coat I’m dreaming about:)`
Serger.Love my serger.
Invisible zippers!
When I’m working with an unfamiliar fabric or technique required for the pattern I’m using.
All in one facings where there is no CB or Cf seam.
If I’m making clothing, Everything!!!

Thank you a lot for giving everyone such a wonderful opportunity to check tips from here. It is often very cool and full of a great time for me personally and my office colleagues to search the blog not less than 3 times in one week to learn the fresh tips you have got. And lastly, I am at all times motivated with all the wonderful principles you give. Some 2 areas in this article are without a doubt the most suitable we have ever had.
