I love shopping for pretty fall and Halloween potholders. Then I sew them together with matching fall leaves-colored fleece and cut the fleece into strips making a fringed border. I then place grommets on the top sections and make matching handles which I lace through the grommets. They make very cute purses/totes, and all of my friends request them. Some of the potholders have a pocket, so these work great. The pockets are handy for cell phones and keys.
My family gets together every Sunday for Football, so I’m making a football table cover for my coffee table. with green backing, white bias tape for the yard lines and numbers, and collecting all the NFL football teams fabrics to make footballs for the borders! Having fun while they watch their football!
making gifts for my family and friends.
I love working on Christmas presents for the family..:D

Love to make fall decorative wall hangings for my grandchildren to enjoy!
Christmas presents for friends.
Actually my favorite fall project is Christmas presents, and decor. I’m going to have to add some baby stuff, because we have a real baby boom around here. More on the way. I don’t know where to start. May-be a list would be good.
I try to get my Christmas gifts quilted and sewn before the weather gets too hot over here.

Sewing halloween items. This year it is trick or treat bags as well as costumes!
Fall is when I start on Christmas gifts. This year is potholders, plus I like Normas Jean’s idea of makig Quillows.

I decorate Mums and Garters for Homecoming time at the High Schools
My favorite fall sewing projects are all the fabric pumpkin patterns, and back to school reversable belts (my kids have to wear uniforms) to show their style. Easy to do, and my girls love picking out the fabrics!!
My favorite thing to sew in any season is a quilt. I enjoy making other things, but quilts have always been my favorite.
Favorite fall project is sewing my daughter’s “birthday suit”. I make her a suit for her birthday, on Oct. 31, every year .
I love starting new quilts , pocketbooks, for Christmas gifts.

I love making hats and costumes. Fun stuff:)
I like to make fall themed table runners. And I also like to start any projects that I may want to do for Christmas.
I like to make the same pattern but with different size yarns just to see what will turn out. I also like to make scarves from afghan panel patterns – can be interesting.
My favorite fall project is making a full or larger size quilt. I don’t mind the extra weight and it keeps me cozy. I also love to throw in a few seasonal wall hangings.
Fall is time to change house decorations, which mean new dining room table runner, new dishtowels, aprons, and potholders. I absolutely love the fall colors and mine dining room is deep gold to prove it. Also, I find that potholders and aprons with maybe a matching casserole carrier make great gifts.
I found a Halloween Table Runner pattern (called the 10 min. runner) I think I’m addicted! I’m making then for everyone. Then I found fabric to make Fall and Thanksgiving fabric and here I go again.
