Happy Friday! We hope you’ve been having an excellent first week of October. For our Free Stuff giveaway today, we have a special selection of jewelry-making supplies from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads, including beads, chain, jump rings, beading wire and more. All of these items would come in handy for making a cool fabric flower necklace like the ones we’ve been seeing lately, like this one from Mandipidy:

Besides sewing…I love love love to bead weave!
I sew, quilt, crochet, oil paint, draw, make cards, design and make jewelry, mixed- media projects, and art journaling.
I like to try everything! Cardmaking, scrapbooking, jewellery/beading, and lately embroidery!!
I sew, crochet, acrylic paint, learning beading
I also quilt, knit, crochet, hardanger, and cross-stitch.
I want to do everything!!
beside sewing I like to read.
I do a little bit of everything. Just wish I had more time to do it.
Along with machine quilting and machine embroidery, I’ve been trying my hand at machine needle felting (punching). Also, the granddaughters and I often do small craft projects together. Recently we discovered an applications on the iPod called Play Dough. It shows how to make play dough items, such as the cupcakes, ice cream and rainbows we’ve made so far. I like to incorporate crafting to help teach my 4 year old granddaughter to read. One of her favorites is to make her letters by gluing macaroni or beans to form the letters and then adding pictures from magazines whose first letter (sound) is the letter being worked with. I also take the granddaughters to Frogs and Pollywogs for arts and crafts as well. They have a weekly program for pre-schoolers and well as a an afternoon program for school age. The girls have made finger puppets, rock pets, robots (from tin cans), pencil buddies and more.
I enjoy embroidery, ceramics, painting, knitting, crocheting, phtography, for sure…there are so many things I would like to learn!
I am a seamstress by trade: I do alterations. I also go camping, knit, crochet, make beaded jewelry, make greeting cards using me photographs, make teddy bears out of old real fur coats, and I make clothing for orphans in Africa: dresses out of pillow cases for little girls and britches out of t-shirts for little boys.
Besides sewing, I knit, scrapbook, jewelry making, basketry, soap making, And lots more!
Sewing is my first love..Ienjoy crocheting and quilting and making craft projects
Sewing’s first, and I also crochet, loom knit, make jewelry, do miscellaneous crafts, redwork, quilt, linnea, homemade toiletries….no wonder my craft is in what used to be the game room
Besides apparel sewing, I quilt, crochet, cross stitch, paint and make jewelry and would love to have this!! I’m always looking for something new to try.
Knitting, crafts with the kids (lots of em), and gf baking. Does baking count?
Besides sewing, I love to paint, recycle old items into something new, and love to photograph family members and surprise them later with the picture made into a gift.

I love to sew. It is so calming after a busy day at work. I try to make something to wear to match my theme at Story Hour each week. Also I enjoy making a bead bracelet that matches the color of my newly sewn project. Earrings are my next endeavor.
