I have sewn curtains a few times, both for myself and other family members. I currently have the fabric to finish the window coverings for my bedroom.

Curtains were the first thing I made to make our little 10×52 trailer home warm and comfy the first year I was married in 1974. I have also made nursery room and bedroom curtains. I would love to learn new tricks and styles for future windows from this great little book.
I live to make curtains and often personalize the parsonages that I live in with my own creations. I just got through hanging some that I made a few years ago in the kitchen of this parsonage.They look great! I only had to alter one set of them to make them fit. Next project is for my sewing studio. I have great sewing fabric but could use some new ideas for making them!

Yes. I have made pleated drapes, tab top curtains, window scarves and roman shades.

Oh yes, many times. I tell people over and over that is when sewing really pays off. You can make awesome custom made curtains that would cost a fortune to buy. Would sure love a new curtain book: my Sunset book is a little dated!
Yes, many times! Pleated drapes, cafe with brass rings, standard gathered onto a rod, tab top. A very fun and creative way to change the look of your decor.

Many years ago I sewed curtains for my young children out of bed sheets.
Many times–mostly rod-pocket cafe’s. Such a simple way to spiff up a home and way cheaper than store-bought ones plus you can pick exactly the perfect fabric. So much fun!
