Christmas Giveaway Day 7

Thanks to everyone for all your posts yesterday! I loved reading all the homemade, heart-felt gift stories. My mother-in-law made us a beautiful crochet afghan one Christmas. It happened to be our puppy’s first Christmas and he literally consumed about 30% of the blanket. So, the next year, after our puppy was trained, she made us another one. It’s warm and soft and the puppy loves snuggling up with it!

The winner of our Day 6 prize, Sew the Perfect Gift, is Mama Lusco for her comment: “My husband loves the blue jean & corduroy comforter I made him last Christmas.”

Congratulations Mama Lusco! Email with your mailing address to receive your prize.

We have a very special Christmas Giveaway Day 7 for you today. Seams Sew Special is offering a Free project as well as a prize! The instructions for the project can be found here: Wing Needle Poinsettia Bag.

I’m thinking wedding favor bags, but the design is so elegant and understated you could use it in a ton of different ways. What would you use these bags for?

Post your answers in the comments section below and win a Christmas Ball Ornament design from Seams Sew Special.

I would put rolled up scarves in it so I know where to find them when I need one.

I would put a surprise for my wife in it.

  3. I teach cooking classes and this holiday season we’ve being learning Gifts From The Kitchen. These bags would be great for wrapping homemade goodies.

I have a 13 month old little girl and I would place lovely keepsakes in there to giver to her when she was older. Not only would it be a gift I made but it would hold all those little things I held so dear!

Seems like a very special gift bag and it has potential to become a pillow.

I think it would be a lovely bag for a lingerie gift.
