    I teach beginning sewers of all ages. It is a great feeling to give them a skill they can use all through their life.

  2. My sister. I recently gave her one of my machines so she could try sewing. This book would make a great Christmas present for her.

    I gave my daughter her first sewing machine and taught her the very basics. She has grown to be an amazing and creative sewer than I could ever have have imagined and now she has a daughter of her own to pass her skills on to! So to answer the question my grand-daughter will be the newest sewer in our clan! So this book would be for her!

    I have at least 20 beginning sewers in my life this year – I love to pass my passion for sewing on to others so I teach sewing to children and adults. It’s sew much fun!

    Yes, I do…me! I’ve hand sewn a number of things, but am finally getting a sewing machine this year. It won’t really change my projects except I’ll be able to “crank” them out faster :)

    My soon to be 7 year old granddaughter has sat on my knee while sewing quilt strips together or picked out embroidery patterns for her pillows since she was 3……we put together 3 jumpers and tops this summer…..this would be a great beginning for her.
