    I can’t really say one, or even two, designers only because there are so many wonderful ones and depending on what I work on, it’s nice to know I have a choice to find exactly what I like for that project. — It’s almost like saying that I have a favorite color (I do) but I wouldn’t lock myself into that color if I had to ‘live’ with it forever. Same thoughts about fabrics and designers. I’m always excited to see who is doing what and the colors they will use in their prints and then I wonder what I could do with it.

    I’m not sure I know the names of a favorite, but I am always drawn to the Amy Butler style. I just like pretty.

    I loved Laurel Burch long before I picked up sewing. I see her fabric and have to find a project for it and since I got her embroidery cards it’s easy to make the project even more mine. This book would help me use some extra stash. Thanks!!

    I love Robert Kaufman fabrics! He has the best combinations to use for my charity quilts, with bright vibrant colors and prints you just fall in love with! The fabric textures are so nice too:) I could look and feel his fabrics all day! My imagination just runs wild when I see his new fabrics and can think of so many designs and patterns in my head for my quilts! I get so excited!!!!

    I love Amy Gibson! She has the blog Stichery Dickory Dock and has been a featured moda recipe! Her designs and tutorials are inspirational. She has taught me how a dresden can be used in fashionable decorations and an awesome circle quilted rug I have in my daughter’s room! She decorated my nursery and just is simple and sweet! Even if I don’t win I hope she gets a chance to see how appreciated she is!

    Valori Wells is one of my favorite designers for both fabric & patterns. Her fabrics are fun & whimsically and she has a variety of patterns from quilts to totes.

  12. I absolutely adore Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom. Her fabrics are so beautiful. Her color combinations are absolutely out of this world. And her pattern designs and books are a must have.

    Don’t have a favorite fabric designer. It is whatever appeals to me on the day I am shopping. The only fabric I always buy is dog themed.

    Hard to narrow it to just one, but I have enjoyed Mary Engelbreit’s designs. They are whimsical, nostalgic, and distinctly recognizable.

    I LOVE Amy Butler!! Her fabric is lite simple colors but make a HUGE statement!! I love toile fabrics and hers remind me of a mix between toile, modern and vintage!!

    It would have to be Amy Butler. All of her fabrics and designs are so hip, fresh, and colorful. I love how she coordinates the colors that I would never think would look good together, but she does it!!

    I love Michael Miller’s designs. I love the vintage children designs especially. But, I also love many of his other designs.

    My favorite designer is a little girl named Stefi..I am teaching her how to use a sewing machine..However in the mean time she is making Barbie outfits by hand..she designed a dress that you could use the straps or not..I think she can go places when she gets older if her interest is still there..she is 9 years old, the oldest of five, homeschooled children..Thank you

    I love Amy Butler. The colors are so brilliant and the quality of the fabrics are awsome. I love her patterns, use them often and get lots of request for handmade items I make from her patterns.
    I also have other favorites too, I buy from seveal desigers.

    I absolutely love the bold colors & patterns of Marimekko! I also like Amy Butler’s fabrics. I have been sewing for about a year now and I’m really enjoying it…all the fabrics, designs, books & etc.!

    My favorite all time fabric designer has been Laurel Burch. I’m so grateful her family has kept the business going. The fabrics are unique; you can pick them out anywhere. Yet, they give you a happy, bubbly feeling as you look at them and as you work with them.

    Not so much one designer but style of fabric. I LOVE batiks & Asian style fabrics. Batiks tend to be more subdued yet colorful. Asian can be so elegant.
