    I have used silk ribbons to create flowers for embellishing clothing and made broaches from them but have not made any thing from fabric except yo-yos.

    Have made several pins combining different sizes of a big dye flower cut and a repurposed leather and wool coat with a button/brad for the center. Have turned old ties into necklaces by stuffing marbles and trying knots in between to hold the marbles in place, and have made pin flowers by using a Japanese folding technique taking six Square pieces of fabric, folding and stringing together to make the cutest pins.

    This would be sooo cool! Have been making some t-shirt scarves for my daughters and I. Making some zipper jewelry. This would be so much fun to embellish!! My mind would go wild with ideas!! Would love to win this!!

    I haven’t tried to make jewelry but my daughter-in-law makes beautiful things::: I have used some as embellishment for home dec projects… latest was a suedecloth tablecloth using ribbon, lace and crochet touches finished off with beading.

    Not only have I never tried it ( although I see and make jewelry) I’ve never even heard of it, but it would be fun to try! And it’s not like I wools be starting another new hobby right? ;)

    I have made fabric jewelry in the past, mostly pins. Right now I have a beautiful black flower zipper pin made by a good friend, pinned to my black winter coat – very striking!

    No, but I was given a beautiful thread necklace for Valentines Day. It went beautifully with a V neck shirt I had worn the day before, but didn’t have a necklace the right length to work with it. The thread necklace by it’s construction makes it adjustable. Can’t wait to wear the shirt again, with it’s new accessory.

    I make fabric jewelery, I love twisting organic beads from my tropical homeland with colorful and vibrant fabrics. I love fabric and lace earrings, and I am still trying to figure out how to make rings with textiles. I’ve mastered the art of twisted fabric bangles and anklets too!
