Thanks to everyone for participating in Day 5 of Sew it All TV 13 Days of Giveaways to celebrate the 3rd season of Sew it All airing on PBS!
Yesterday we asked, “What closures do you use most in your projects?”
I must say, I do love the decorative element buttons add to garments, but sometimes a zipper is just so much easier! (Sometimes) And exposed zippers, especially colored ones, can add great detail and interest to clothes.
Congratulations to Dorothy Baysore, who won a copy of Cathie Filian’s book, 101 Snappy Fashions: Oodles of one-piece designs for babies, for her comment, “Zippers for children’s clothing. I prefer a button and loop closure in back.”
Thanks everyone for your comments! Congratulations to our winner; please email email@example.com with your mailing address to receive your prize!
Today we’re giving away one signed copy of Jodi Kahn’s book, Simply Sublime Gifts: High-style, low-sew projects to make in a snap (Potter Craft, 2010) to THREE lucky winners! Packed with 28 easy-to-make projects and patterns for many occasions, you’ll be referencing this book for birthdays and Christmases for years to come!
Check out Jodi’s episode, “Pillowcase Tote.” The project in the episode is on page 46 of the book!
To enter to win, answer the following question in the comments section:
“What Sew it All TV featured projects have you made?”
If your local PBS station doesn’t carry Sew it All TV, comment anyway! Let us know if you’ve used the episode instructions on sewitalltv.com to make any projects and what projects look the most interesting.
Remember, when you enter to win each day by answering the question in the Comments section, you are also entered to win the GRAND PRIZE, your own copy of Sew It All, Season 2!
Our winner will be announced tomorrow along with the Day 7 prize! Good luck!
