Pot holders and trivets!
I’m working on a dress for my granddaughter who will be one soon…not scrappy though.
I’m about to try patchwork for the first time and I need help! My granddaughter will be having a baby boy this summer and I want to make her a patchwork floor quilt for him to play on. I’m ready to start. Now what. lol lol
Currently working on a quilt-along with my sister – but shhhhh it’s a surprise as my sister’s completed quilt will be a gift for her daughter… will post pictures on my blog of both of our quilts once they are completed. I made a tea cozy from vintage embroidered linens and calico pieces.
I just finished a stars and moon patched worked quilt for a friends engagement gift.

I made a log cabin wall hanging for Christmas. That’s my most recent quilting project.
A quilted pouch and book cover. Working on some mug rugs now.
I made a tablerunner and am working on a queen sized quilt for our bed. I plan on hand quilting it after machine piecing it.
Have been stocking up on gorgeous fabrics to take up patchwork again… Haven’t sewn for quite a few years but getting right back into it all again! Along with a fabulous new sewing machine …

I haven’t made anything in 30 years! I’ve been gathering ideas, fabrics and creating a space where I can begin crafting, sewing, quilting and embroidery once again. I am excited but probably need all sorts of refreshers to get off on the right foot.
I asked for a “few” fabric scraps from a quilter friend and received 2 large boxes. I have been inspired by the fantastic fabrics and have recently made 2 tote bags and 8 place mats, none exactly the same as any other. Now I am working on book covers.
I am finishing a Disappearing 9 Patch wall hanging or it might be a doll quilt. Also working on a rag quilt in flannel.
just finished a pillow -twister pattern and working on Stitcher Garden Quilt and Block of the month.

Sad to say I haven’t been able to work on much of anything. However, I have cut some denim squares to make a rag quilt. Waiting on the lottery or retirement so I can quilt.

I made a quilt top using citrusy colors with grey. i got the pattern out of a recent magazine. Now for the quilting!

Created my name tag for my quilt guild which is a lanyard/neck sash and did a patchwork of my favorite things with fabric along with embroidering my name and the guild name on two of the patches. It was fun!
I am working on a mystery quilt.
I patched a pair of jeans and kept going. A cat looking up at a branch with birds on it . . . it was like a blank canvas and great fun.
I am working on a block of the month project that is mostly patchwork and the last block has applique. I just finished the block for month six and just starting month seven!
My last patchwork project I recycled denim and cotton squares for make a cute little wristlet!

since im very new to sewing…everything i have made is patch work (or teeny peices of scraps sewn together…) im most proud of a pair of flats (slippers) i made over the weekend!!(bright springy yellow and black flowers/designs!!)
