    I would advise to take a beginner class or course to learn the right way.

    I’m still kind of a sewing beginner myself, but I would say to just jump in and try it – sewing is easier than it looks!

    Chose cotton fabric you love, a simple pattern, follow the direction. The result will make you proud of how much you learned and your final project.

    My advice to a beginner in sewing is just take your time..start w/
    plain square items..a straight skirt..or just small..also
    learn to cut your patterns-as they are the most
    important 1st step and just let the years
    give your the experience…

    My advice for abeginning sewing is buy a sewing book, for beginners and take a class at your local sewing store.

    I would say don’t worry if your project doesn’t turn out perfect. Usually you are the only one who notices & it will be a lot more fun & not as frustrating. I have personally struggled with this.

  9. Use the simplest, best quality tools you can afford.
