I actually did not look into my books for a long time, sewing pretty much stuff I know.
But lately I got the urge to learn new things or read up on “how to” for things I have trouble making and therefore usually don’t sew. Now I am just sewing projects to learn new techniques.

My sewing books aren’t collecting dust but I don’t reread as much as I should…actually I kind of cheat and make myself little notebooks and copy the most important notes/subjects and scan thru that it as needed . I periodically go thru my books with my daughters!

I’m just getting back to sewing after many years of not sewing and currently own no sewing books. I’ve been looking up things online and borrowing books from the library. I do love being able to ask the questions easily and get answers online. Although a book would make it much easier when the computer isn’t on. :) Thanks!

  15. every.single.project. I’m teaching myself, so I am always looking up new techniques.
