Speaking of the cover, many, many thanks to our friends at Fabric Bliss here in Denver for allowing us to use their lovely store as a backdrop! Aurora graciously allowed us to intrude for the day and get some really wonderful shots. If you’re in the Denver area, be sure to visit Fabric Bliss to pick up excellent fabric and supplies. Aurora has great taste in fabrics; so great that it can be hard to make up your mind! Or take one of the awesome classes offered in the on-site studio. If you’re not in the Denver area, you can still join the Fabric Bliss fun by checking out the online store, plus here’s Aurora’s great Oilcloth Beach Bag tutorial–perfect for summer!

Ever since the news about 2012 and the end of days have surfaced, various speculations, theories, stories and opinions have started to populate both the online and offline community and have been buzzing every now and then. Even before the year 2012 took the spotlight, there are already similar prophecies stating when and how our precious world will finally come to a crumble. A bunch of films, books, TV shows and stuff dating from the early 70s and 80s or beyond that have been made to capitalize on the idea that someday our species will face extinction one way or the other.
