My name is Jessica Giardino and I just joined the Sew News team as the editorial assistant. So far my training has been thrilling. Last week I attended my first ever photo shoot; it was so exciting seeing the images come to life. Mostly, I tried to stay out of the way and press every project into perfection. I can’t wait to learn more about the magazine creation process.
I have been sewing since first grade and love making my own unique items. Personalizing an off the rack piece is by far my favorite aspect of sewing. What aspect of sewing keeps you stitching? Is it the creativity outlet? Do you enjoy making truly unique gifts for others? Maybe sewing has been your hobby for years and you just wouldn’t know what to do without it. Whatever the reason I am proud to call myself a sewist and stitch beside you.
