Happy Friday!! It’s the Friday before a long weekend, which makes it even happier!
Today is also our LAST Day of 13 Days of Giveaways! How sad. I’ve had so much fun giving you things! (Grand Prize winner announcement has yet to come, though!) Yesterday, we gave away two copies of the book ReSew by Jenny Wilding Cardon.
The two lucky winners are Amy Mayer and Natali! Thank you all for sharing your upcycling projects, they were very inspiring! Winner Amy recently made a purse out of a straw placement. Winner Natali plans to make pj pants for her son out of one of her husband’s flannel shirts. Look how resourceful and crafty we are!
Amy and Natali-please email info@sewitalltv.com with your mailing address to receive your prize.
Our Day 13 prize is: Every Issue of Sew it All Ever! (Volumes 1-4)
Even if you have one or two volumes, let us complete your collection! If some of your issues are getting tattered from so much use, let us replace them! Or the collection would make a great gift for a fellow sewist-there’s an easy project in it to satisfy every style and skill level!
Check out our lovely contributor Lucy Blaire’s season 3 episode, Plush Pillow which also happens to be featured in Sew it All Volume 3. With Lucy’s help, create funky velvet patchwork pillows and learn tips and tricks for mastering velvet-sewing techniques.
To win the set answer the following question in the comments section below, “What was your favorite episode from Sew it All season 3?”
If you don’t get the show in your area, or for a refresher, see the full episode list here. Have you only caught a few episodes? You can still get the instructions online!
The winner will be announced on Tuesday! If you haven’t entered to win yet, enter today! It’s your last chance to enter to win the GRAND PRIZE, season 3 on DVD!
Good luck and have a GREAT Labor Day weekend!

unfortunately did not get to watch enough to have a favorite episode… prefer the ones with less”drama ” between the contestants…
Sadly, we don’t get the show our area. Would love to see it though!
I also don’t get the show in my area. But I like the directions for A Shirr thing. Wish I could watch the episode.
i didn’t get to watch it b/c our pbs doesn’t air it.
would love to watch it.
311: Welt of Knowledge, Jen Eskridge after watching this I made my first welt pockets in a jacket! Fast and Easy.
#311 Welt of knowledge – I don’t always see the show – but I do enjoy the variety.
I don’t get to watch this, but I got the instructions for Show #309, Sewing Space Spruce-Up. Can’t wait to begin my new projects! Thanks for all the great giveaways.
I’ve never read any of these, so would love to win Issues 1-4.
I have never seen the show, but would love to have these!
I don’t get to watch this but would like the magazines!!
I watch PBS out of the Houston, Texas station, and the program is not on their line-up. I wish it was. I would love to be able to watch it.
I didn’t see any but I would LOVE , LOVE, LOVE to win this prize!!!!!!
Episode 3: Simply Sashiko by Ellen Osten
I only get to see your program when I visit my daughter. The one I remember was the making of the potholder using the Sashiko technique. The part I didn’t understand was the double thread in the bobbin. I contacted the presenter twice by email for further clarification and never got a reply.I would still like to know.
The Go Organic 308
I really wish is ran here, I would watch every day.
I am not sure if it is season three or not because this is the first time I have lived somewhere where I can watch this show but I liked “Machine Mania”. It was neat to see how I can use my serger for more than just serging.
Oh man! I eye these mags online all the time! How awesome would it be to win them all!? I didn’t even realize there were episodes…
I love shopping in thrift stores…such great bargains. I use the buttons, zippers, and fabric from my “finds” to make purses. Such a great way to recycle!
Episode 301, as I bought elastic thread over a year ago to learn this process, but hadn’t gotten around to it without a good video tutorial!
I do not get the show in my area..but would love to win this prize
We just moved to a spot in MN where we don’t get Sew It All anymore
The mags would help my withdrawal!
Haven’t been able to watch any episodes as I can’t find them in Canada but would love to see them.
Unfortunately we don’t get this either but I do use the tutorials. My favorite was June Mellinger showing how to use machine embroidery to quilt.
Simply Sashiko is my pick!
So sad that we don’t get the show in our area. Would really love to watch it!
We don’t get the show here.
but I sure could use every issue of Sew It All!
I liked the episode that they used a surger to make it look like crochet. It is a good idea to use to make table scarves and I liked the episode where they took the sweatshirt and recycled it into a tank top. Actually, I liked almost all the episodes that I got to see. I regularly try to tune in unless something prevented me from being home at the time the show aired.
Another sewing program that I don’t get to see!
I don’t get to see it in my city either but I would be interested in episode 302: Material World because I’d love to learn more about designing fabric!
I can’t watch this show but i have the 4th issue which I love. This entire set would be awesome!
Have not seen any, but would love to get a CD, if you have one!
Work weekends, so I miss sewing TV…..read lots of sewing magazines
episode 311, welt of knowledge was my favorite. I would love to get the complete set.
Sadly, I don’t get the show. I do use all my selvedge edges and scraps to make into new fabric pieces for making quilts and other small projects. Love the look!~!!!!! I teach girls from 7-13 how to sew and they love seeing what will be made next. They have even made their own strip quilts out of fabric scraps. I love them!!!!!
I liked Machine Mania. We don’t get it here, do you have CD’s?
Making a garment collection is a dream, that episode is perfect!
liked every one i watched–no favorites
I don’t get the show and I HAVE SO MUCH TO LEARN> I spend my evenings with a glass of wine and browsing the internet for tutorials.
I don’t get the show here where I live. I would love to win the DVD to make up for it.
What an amazing prize!! I think sewing your way through Sew It All would make for a great personal challenge. I don’t get the show in my area, but I love the idea of tips to spruce up your sewing space, my space often gets overlooked and it’s where I spend most of my non-working time!
Haven’t been able to see the show
, put it on netflix, pretty please! Would love the sew it al mags, only recently discovered the latest edition and really loved it!
Love the sashiko pot holder idea-always looking for ways to quilt
my pot holders. Thanks!
Don’t usually watch the show, but would love to complete my set of magazines! Thanks for the giveaway.
no favorite. Love them all, some are just more useful than others but all great!
I do not have the show available but would love to watch on my sewing room tv.
We don’t get it here in Alabama. I first heard about it at the Sewing/Quilting Expo in Atlanta. LOVE IT!
I don’t get this show in my area. I would have liked to see Shirr Thing.
I have never seen the show – we don’t get it here in my area
. It’s not as important for me to win the prize today as it is to voice that I sure would like to have the show on a local station! That would be prize enough for me!
Cheers and Happy Long Weekend!
I have never seen the show–must not show in my area–:( BUT looking through the episode list I love episode 302–using the art of a fabric in the design of a garment–brilliant–2 creatives expressions used in one element!
