Happy Friday!! It’s the Friday before a long weekend, which makes it even happier!
Today is also our LAST Day of 13 Days of Giveaways! How sad. I’ve had so much fun giving you things! (Grand Prize winner announcement has yet to come, though!) Yesterday, we gave away two copies of the book ReSew by Jenny Wilding Cardon.
The two lucky winners are Amy Mayer and Natali! Thank you all for sharing your upcycling projects, they were very inspiring! Winner Amy recently made a purse out of a straw placement. Winner Natali plans to make pj pants for her son out of one of her husband’s flannel shirts. Look how resourceful and crafty we are!
Amy and Natali-please email info@sewitalltv.com with your mailing address to receive your prize.
Our Day 13 prize is: Every Issue of Sew it All Ever! (Volumes 1-4)
Even if you have one or two volumes, let us complete your collection! If some of your issues are getting tattered from so much use, let us replace them! Or the collection would make a great gift for a fellow sewist-there’s an easy project in it to satisfy every style and skill level!
Check out our lovely contributor Lucy Blaire’s season 3 episode, Plush Pillow which also happens to be featured in Sew it All Volume 3. With Lucy’s help, create funky velvet patchwork pillows and learn tips and tricks for mastering velvet-sewing techniques.
To win the set answer the following question in the comments section below, “What was your favorite episode from Sew it All season 3?”
If you don’t get the show in your area, or for a refresher, see the full episode list here. Have you only caught a few episodes? You can still get the instructions online!
The winner will be announced on Tuesday! If you haven’t entered to win yet, enter today! It’s your last chance to enter to win the GRAND PRIZE, season 3 on DVD!
Good luck and have a GREAT Labor Day weekend!

Sewing space spruce up #309, I wish we got the program here too. I am working on my sewing studio and I am ready for ideas for a great organized, useful space!! Thanks
I liked the sketchbook cover. Such a pretty gift to give an artist!
Patchwork Primer was my favorite! You could make anything with her simple patchwork pattern!! LOVE IT!
cannot get in my area…would LOVE to have the DVD!
My PBS must be showing old shows because I DVR every episode to watch & haven’t seen any of the ones from this series. Can’t wait to watch episode 301!!!
My favorite had to be Episode 304, the patchwork scarf – great for gifts, fairly quick to do and fun too.
Living in a wasteland. But other comments seem like y’all have some fun.
I enjoy the show. I liked the one on fitting garments as I have some fitting problem areas. I also appreciated the tips on welt pockets. My mother taught me these many years ago, but some of the tips will help to keep them straight. Thanks for the freebies.
I can’t believe PBS Boston doesn’t air this!! I really want to see episode 306 with Fallene Wells…! Project Runway ROCKS!
Well I haven’t actually seen any episodes in season 3 because my PBS station isn’t showing them. They are listed to be seen in the guide, but my station is showing another sewing show instead. I’ve emailed but haven’t heard anything back. So I’m mad at my local PBS. I don’t really like the other show. I really want to see 310: Serger Crochet, Ellen Osten, it sounds neat.
Episode 2 – Material World
I have not seen any of the shows yet as our local PBS station does not carry Sew It All. Looking at the list of shows, Episode #302 – Material World sounds great. Thanks!
Show 309: Sewing Space Spruce-Up is one of my favorites.
I don’t have a favorite episode.
We don’t get the show in our area.
Big bummer. But I would love the opportunity to win the mags so I can experience a bit of the fun that the show is all about.
My favorite show was the one with the log cabin curtains to spruce up the sewing room
Our PBS station does not air the show but I wish it did. It would be a definite DVR show!
