Do you have an iPad, Kindle, Nook or other tablet? A case or cover is important for protecting your device, but ready-made cases can be very pricey! Use the Trace ‘n Create templates to create your own personalized case for your iPad, Kindle, Nook or other eReader. The pre-cut shapers add a sturdy protective layer. As the holiday season approaches, a customized cover would also make a great gift for the techie on your list.

For your chance to win, answer this question in the comments section below: What are your favorite online sewing resources?

Tell us about your favorite sewing blogs, websites or online classes. On Monday, we’ll randomly select a winner from all the commenters. Good luck! And don’t forget, if you do have an e-reader or tablet, you can now view digital issues of Sew News, Sew it All and CME on the go!

My “go to” sites for info re: sewing is Nancy Z and Collette—even though I have been sewing for more than 40 years, I really like the refreshers and the shortcuts that make things sooooo much easier and nicer.

I love Sew News & have been saving the magazines for about 15 years. I also prefer Nancy Zieman, and Husqvarna Viking. My mother would finally get a cover for her Kindle Fire. She taught me to sew & now she prefers to read due to arthritis. Thank you Sew News for all you’ve done to teach me new techniques.

My favorites are Nancy Zieman on web, youtube and I also watch on PBS. I also use emblibrary.com for ideas. I have so many different references to go to as a beginner. I would love to win these. I bought the Tablet Keepers template but couldn’t afford the shapers yet. This would be fantastic and not have to try and cut out foam board!!! Thanks for all the great ideas and wonderful notions to go with them.
