My favorite holiday to craft for is Christmas. I enjoy giving my crafts to family and friends as gifts. I find that shopping for gifts at this time of year is just to costly and time consuming. I really like to put love behind my gifts and found crafting has been the way to do this.

  2. Lori Wendt says:

I used to not have to have a holiday…but since the days are shorter in my older years (for some reason), I don’t get to sew as much as I’d like. So, I guess Christmas would be the best opportunity to do so (I’m hoping, anyway). Although, my last big project was costumes for a renaissance faire for my daughter and her fiance.

  3. Angie Lucas says:

I would have to say Christmas & birthdays are my favorites to sew and craft for. Anytime I am able to make something for someone, I feel special as well as the recipient, knowing that this will be a one of a kind gift that comes from the heart. It’s also a great way to add any special memories to it or even incorporate recycling/repurposing.

  4. Stacey Harris says:

Christmas…. and Autumn… and Thanksgiving and this year Halloween… I created a Wonder Woman costume that I am VERY proud of!

With my embroidery machine I have designs for all the holidays but Christmas is when I really work on projects for the Bazaar at our church. Halloween is my daughter’s favorite holiday because there isn’t a big family meal to prepare and cleanup!!!! Besides all the candy is wonderful.

  6. Penelope Kinney says:

    Christmas

  7. Bev says:

Christmas would be my MOST favorite holiday to craft for. Valentines day would be next cause I’m a nut about hearts. Now with a son in the military I’m always looking for holiday things that are light so I can ship them during deployments so every holiday gets attention, cause it marks time. Crafting spells love so the two things go well together

  8. Stacy says:

Hands down, Halloween! Especially costumes – it’s a great excuse to go ‘all out’ with trims, notions, and fun fabrics.

My favorite holiday to craft for is always Halloween. I love making costumes, and I love all the creepy things. It’s a day of ultimate imagination, and just about anything goes. I can get as crazy as I want with what I make, and the fabrics and trims are always so much fun to work with.

  14. Karen Poole says:

My favorite holiday to sew for is Halloween! You can just go wild with your projects and pretty much do whatever you want. That is when the imagination can really play into this!! As my kids grew up, this was our whole families favorite holiday, we made it so fun for them with the decorations and costumes and such! We just never wanted it to end! And my kids came up with some pretty good ideas for costumes, as they grew up, you couldn’t find the type costumes that are out there now, so I always had fun working with them and making their creatioms! We saved all the costumes and decorations and used them over again through the years, and as teens, their friends would even come over to borrow costumes because we always had the most unique things!! We didn’t do violent, I didn’t want to endorce that, but we always did get inventive!!

  15. Heather Kaczmarek says:

While I do love the other Holidays, Christmas is my favorite! I love the cute little stocking stuffers, the oraments that we make. The crocheting, knitting and sewing of winter items. Second runner up would be a person’s birthday. It’s also another day to personalize their present :-)

  16. Rosemary Griffis says:

Christmas! There are so many different things to sew and quilt: Clothing, towels, pot holders, gifts, table linens, etc., etc.

  22. I try to make Day of the Dead things already, because when my Mom and I went out to Monument Valley to scatter my boyfriend’s ashes, we drove around and saw all of the beautiful things the Mexicans made for the holiday. That trip inspired me so much! This looks like an incredible book!

I wanted to draft you that bit of observation to finally give many thanks over again considering the magnificent suggestions you’ve shown above. It was particularly open-handed with people like you to make openly what many of us would have marketed as an e-book to help make some profit for their own end, notably considering the fact that you might have done it in case you decided. These suggestions as well acted as a fantastic way to realize that most people have a similar fervor just as my personal own to figure out way more on the topic of this matter. I know there are millions of more enjoyable occasions up front for people who looked at your blog post.
