    I LOVE to sew skirts!!!! Flirty, feminine fabrics and designs make me feel so pretty!

    I love to embelish baby’s blanket with appliques, embelish purses, diaper bags, cosmetic bags with recovered fabrics, lace, pipings, rick rack, from repurposed fabric sampler books; embelish simple fabrics by couching yarns, threads, cords, lace, adding machine stitchings with several colored threads, then adding some hand embroidery on it and quilt the lot perhaps to frame it or turn it into a useful cosmetic or hand bag.

    I LOVE to sew everything. I started with scraps from my mom while she made wedding dressign and brides made dresses. and moved on to clothes, quilts and more. My favorite thing to sew – material. Seriously. so slong as I can sew and play with fabric i’m good.

    My favorites are gifts for other people. I’ve made BBQ aprons and potholders using some new fabric from Hawthorne Threads, working on some sock monkeys for the nephews and nieces, and finishing up some totes out of beautiful fabric from Ghana.

    The thing I love to sew most varies on any given day. Something that catches my eye or inspires me becomes a priority, even more so when it encorporates a new technique I have never tried before. It may be the way a ruffle lays on a handbag, or the way a seam is encased in a skirt, maybe a cute appliqué on a pillow. I love sewing new things and rarely make multiples of one project.
