    My favorites are the imaginative creations my children draw up and want me to whip up on the fly–jackets for stuffed animals, butterfly houses, a sleeping bag for Barbie….. Keeps the brain young!

    I love to sew for relaxation so I sew things for a church mission project that don’t require much thought…lap robes, adult bibs, adult capes, baby blankets, little girl pillowcase dresses, and pillows for the hospital.

  16. I love complicated projects that make me think. I am a very impatient person by nature, so those kind of projects remind me to slow down and enjoy the process.

    My favorite things to make involves anything upcycled! I love to find pieces at the local thrift store’s $1 bag bin with fabric I love in forms nobody would love, and then turn them into something a little more modern and fun. I’ve turned sweaters into bags and purses and scarves, t-shirts into blankets, shirts into skirts…it doesn’t matter what it was, if I see it and am inspired, it’ll become something great!

    I am new in sewing but my favorite things so far are potholders and a pillowcase I made for my little guy. Just got some flannels so I am looking forward to start some pajama pants for Teddy. I love looking for ideas online and in books from my library so I am hoping I can win this one. :-)

  26. PILLOWCASES for kids with Cancer! We love to make these for the kids at local hospitals! I also make these for my family members and they love them too!

    I have been sewing since I was small. My mom took lots of time to show me all the tricks and fun stuff we could create with sewing!

    I love the book! I like to sew it all…bags, quilts, clothes, doll clothes and home items. My only problem is finding the time! So because of that, most of my projects lately have been the quick ones like items for home decor or makeover ready made clothes.

    My favorite thing to sew would be projects I can complete in a day or two. I love the sewing but absolutely love the finishing. Seeing something that I made, that didn’t exist a day or 2 earlier is very satifying.
