    My favorite thing about the holidays is being with all of our family. I love the fun and laughter, then I put out the turkey dinner and when all is done, we play games together.

    My favorite thing about Christmas is church. I love attend church and worship Jesus during this time of year (for his birthday). Our church is always so beautifully decorat ed every year. The choir always does such a great job with the songs and music! This is what Christmas is all about to me.

    My favorite part of the holidays is listening to my children pick out gifts for each other and their reasons why. I also enjoy listening to their recollections as they decorate with their “long lost ornaments” and the joy in seeing their stockings again.

    My favorite thing about the holidays is celebrating with family and friends. People we don’t get to see often, usually make time to go out and have some fun. We all are so busy with kids, jobs, etc that we don’t always get time to relax with others. Its nice to slow down and enjoy the fruits of our labours.

    My favorite things about the holidays have evolved over the years. My favorite used to be the weekend we spent baking cookies and sitting around the kitchen table decorating them. Oh, the memories we made. Now that my children are grown, I love listening to them tell my grandchildren about their memories of Christmas while growing up. Spending time with family and creating wonderful memories and traditions for generations to enjoy is very important to us. My embroidery machines have allowed me to create new memories and traditions for my family.

    My favorite part of the holidays with watching my kids excitement. Our 3 elementary-age children love the holiday decorations, music, programs and gifts. It’s so fun to see how they enjoy the season.

    What I love most is having my children and grandchildren being here, and all attending church together. This year I’ll have one daughter and 2 gd here for Christmas eve, then later in the week another daughter and her family will come for 3-4 days. It’s hard when they live so far away.

  21. My favorite part of the Holidays are embroidering handmade creations for my 4 grandchildren and spending time with each of them and teaching them the true meaning of Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is not the gifts you can hold in your hand, it’s the love and time you spend with your family that are the true treasures of the Season. Life is not about things, it’s about spending time and creating memories with the ones you love.

They hold a hand out to someone in need that they might not even notice normally. It is a feeling we should nurture all year, but is more noticeable during this time of year.

    My favorite thing about holidays is that its brings back my lifetime of memories.
    I can remember back to my 3rd Christmas (I’m 44 now) Sometimes I laugh when I think back about chopping down the perfect Christmas trees, or how I’d sneak and unwrap my presents; then re-wrap them…hahaha…or cry when I miss someone who is no longer her to share the good times with me (like my brother). Though Christmas is my favorite; I love all holidays: NYE, Valentine’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. I think I like all of those equally. But Christmas is all about Jesus, and I love Jesus.

    My favorite thing is helping other people, whether it is giving a ride to someone who needs it to buying food for the food bank. That is what the season is really about. I make things and give them to the home where my motherinlaw is, like ornaments for their trees that are unbreakable, Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

    I still have a little one that believes in Santa, so I really enjoy her awe on Christmas
    Morning. And the two
    Older kids are always surprised that they get the one thing they asked for.

    Usually my favorite thing is the decorations. But with how busy these last few months have been it is going to be the 2 weeks off of school that my children will have and the opportunity to sleep in. I didn’t even decorate and usually I put out a HUGE Christmas display.
