Childrens items or gifts like the snowflake coasters in the current issue.
I usually look for designs to put on bulp pads, dish towels and childrens smaller shirts. I like simple designs to use and not alot of stitches, as they are usually gifts. So sometimes finding really cute designs for a child’s shirt is harder to find, my grandson is into dinos and i have hard time finding really cute ones for a 4 yr. old.
I start out looking for a simple design projects. quick and fast, because it usually takes forever for me to get started. I get sidetracked organizing the designs.

Cute designs for pre-teen boys. There are lots of designs for girls and younger boys but not as many for boys aged 10 and up.

My neice love submarines (the yellow ones). I can change the color but just to find a whimsical one is hard. Yes I have looked at the Beatles album.
I love to make free standing lace ornaments as gifts and gift tags. And lots of other ornaments. I also sew most of my Christmas gifts.
I like to find simple non-seasonal borders to put down a shirt front beside the buttons.

I have been unable to find simple cutwork designs to embroider “endlessly” on tablerunners. The one that look like a ladder stitch around the inside edges of a runner is of special interest to me.
