Happy Friday! This week I’ve got babies on the brain, thanks to my little niece who’s scheduled to arrive next month. I can’t wait to meet her, and of course, sew for her! My sister Wendy’s baby shower was last weekend, so here we are with the baby quilt I gave her:
One resource that will come in very handy when I’m sewing for my new niece is Babyville Boutique, which is featured in “Cool Tools” in the current Sew News. Babyville Boutique started as a source for supplies for sewing cloth diapers as an eco-friendly alternative to expensive disposables. In addition to a variety of adorable PUL fabrics and other products, Babyville Boutique is also a great place to find sewing ideas, inspiration and information. Plus, PUL fabric has so many fun uses beyond diapers, including aprons, book covers, appliques and more.
So today, we have an amazing giveaway of Babyville Boutique products, including books, patterns, PUL fabric, appliques, buttons, snaps, fold-over elastic, diaper pins and more!
For your chance to win, answer the following question in the Comments section below:
Do you plan on sewing anything for babies in the near future and if so, what will you be sewing?

I am due with #2 in August and want to make a couple of my Pinterest Board projects!
Friends keep having babies. I am currently working on two baby quilts. Making baby items gives me so much joy.
My sister is three months along with what we are all sure will be a boy, and I can’t wait to sew a few softies, a receiving blanket, bitty slippers…and perhaps some soft slippers for my sister.
Thank you for the opportunity!
Diapers and bibs
maybe some wipes and burp cloths
I want to sew baby quilts and cute little dresses! =)
This week, I’m stitching up & embroidering some adorable burp cloths for a friend’s soon-to-arrive baby boy, and then I’ll start on Easter dresses for both of my granddaughters (5 months & 3.5 years). This will be a first for me, but I’ll love Seeing them in their handmade dresses.
I just made an appliqued A-line baby dress today and have another one in the works for this week. I am also getting ready to smock the Easter dress for my granddaughter.
I plan on making my new grand baby lots of diapers
I have babyville boutique PUL at home ready to make some diapers for my ten month old son! Love the cute prints!
My niece is having a baby in April and I would love to send her additional lovies such as these wonderful gifts…what fun it is quilting for babies, currently making a baby quilt in pastels because of the babe’s unknown gender, I love surprises, don’t you? These are such beautiful prints.

What perfect timing, I’m expecting to be blessed with two grandbaby girls this year. How fun would it be to make cute baby items for them both. Blankets, burp cloths, bibs, headbands, hats…
I have made several baby blankets this year for friends, and am now sewing for my first grandbaby! I am making blankets, burp cloths, boppy covers for Mom, and nursing covers for Mom. As he gets a bit older, I’ll add pajamas to the list!
training pants for my two year old.
I’m making a swirl skirt for a toddler girl!
My niece is having her first baby in late May. I plan to make a lot of baby items for the nursery.
I just finished 10 newborn-size babyville diapers, going to try to do 10 size small before I have my first baby, due Feb 19th. It’s going really well and I’m getting really pumped about cloth diapering! Never would have thought I would, but they are just too cute not to!
I’m making bibs and blankets for two expectant moms;)
My first grandchild is due in Aug. would love to make diapers and a diaper bag for her to help her save money and have a reusable resource for future children.
I am a registered nurse that takes care of special needs children in their home. Many of these children have G-Tubes, which are feeding tubes that are inserted directly into the stomach, through the abdominal wall. I am making discs to be placed around the tube site that will absorb any leakage and make the tube somewhat “cute” We use soft fabrics and plastic snaps from Babyville to secure them in place.
I am currently making a “surprise baby mat tote” for my greatgrand
baby. I made a changing mat and bib for the new baby coming in April.
Im currently sewing Babyville Diapers. I finished newborn diaper covers about a month a go. Im also very much into quilting and have finished several quilts for my baby girl. Im due March 3rd and I hope to finish at least ten diapers by then. I love this concept of cloth diapers and enjoy making them and showing them off to my family and friends.
I have recently sewn many cute dresses and rompers for my baby girl. I have also made washcloths/reusable wipes and am waiting on my shipment of Babyville PUL and wicking fabric from Joann’s to sew my own stash of diapers! I love everything crafty!
