    I love making totes. I made a bunch for Christmas presents, embroidered different Christmas designs on them. They were a big hit. This year I made several “baskets”. Another big hit. Getting ready to make my own conceal carry purse. Can’t find one in the color I want. Love having the versatility to put as many pockets in a purse or tote as I want.

    Yes! So many I’ve lost count. One year, I made more than 30 book totes for my granddaughter to give to her friends!

    Still learning to sew but loved a class I recently took where we made a really cool clutch purse. Used a remnant of burgandy moleskin and pretty batik lining with pockets. So happy to finish it that I’m trying my had again and making a shopping tote.

    I haven’t made a bag/tote in over a year. Last bags I made were coin purses for gifts. I’m ready to try something new!

    I enjoy making useful items. I have 2 girls so we have many, many tote bags to sort their items and hung on wall pegs. We even have one tote made from sandwich bags so it is very durable and waterproof for the beach.
    I have totes for each activity as well. Each hung on a peg by the door. A tote for Scouts, a tote for gym and so on.

    Yes I do. I have a favorite pattern for one that travels easily and has not interfacing that is bulky to pack.

  32. I have made several purses. I can’t say I have a favorite purse pattern because I keep coming across new patterns that I really like.

    I made a T.A.R.D.I.S. mini-messenger bag for my friends birthday… blue fabric, “Police Box” sign on the flap, and custom silk fabric from Spoonflower made to look like the inside of the T.A.R.D.I.S.! She LOVED it! (And it really DID end up bigger on the inside!!!)

    Yes, I make purses and tote bags! I also make the change purses, etc, accessories to go inside the purse. I’ve made diaper bags and even laptop bags. E-reader bags, make-up bags, tissue holders, flashdrive holders and now my daughter wants me to make a duffle-type bag for her out of pink ribbon breast cancer fabric and a matching garment bag! I love making “in the hoop” projects for the purse accessories, but constantly make up my own purse and tote bag patterns….never know what I’ll be up to next!!!
