I like both size bags. I’ve found that no matter what size bag…tiny or gargantuan…I will fill it! lol

  2. Jacqulin Jennings says:

Small purse, always. All I ever need is a wallet, my favorite lipstick and a compact.

  3. Kristy says:

Backbreaker Carry ALL for sure! :) Thanks for the chance!

  4. Kate Oliver says:

I prefer small bags, only because I will fill it up and I don’t want to be carrying around everything that I could fit into a larger bag. I like having larger totes for when I need to transport many things.

  5. Terri says:

Definately Backbreaker Carry ALL – the bigger the purse, the more stuff I put in it. I am getting better though as my poor shoulders just don’t do well with all the weight these days

  6. Kathy Ohlson says:

I try to stay on the small side when I choose a bag. If I get one that is to big I will fill it to the brim!

  7. Patty says:

As hard as I try to be the small purse type, I am the back breaker tote lady at heart. Fortunately, my daughter is a bit more reasonable and falls right in the middle.

  8. valerie jackson says:

    Back breaker bigger the better

  9. Kimberly Porter says:

I carry a big one for every day. We I travel I fly with a big one & then take a small cross body one for sightseeing, etc.

  10. Barbara Norton says:

I am a back breaker tote bag lady!!

  11. Dana says:

I like the larger bags but I’ve learned that if you have the space stuff will appear out of nowhere to fill it up!

  12. lara M says:

I am tote bag person..The bigger the better..I put everything in my tote bag even pockets on my tote bag..On the outside & inside to put more stuff in them..

  13. Jeanne says:

I am in the middle. I don’t want a back breaker so I choose a big just large enough for what I have to carry…or make one that size. If I need more room I slip the purse into a tote of some type that I can either use as a backpack or cross shoulder and away I go!

  14. Kimberly N says:

A big bag! First I carry my epi pens every where I go, so the purse has to be at least that big. These days I also like to be able to stuff my kid’s stuff into my purse if needed!

  15. Marjorie says:

Definitely a small bag. I have MS so the extra weight of a big bag throws off my balance, so I try to prioritize and design clever cute small bags.

  16. Marilee Hawkins says:

Depends totally on what I am doing. Sometimes I use nothing more than a wallet in my pocket, other days, depending on where I am going, I need a really big tote bag. I love to make bags of all sizes and shapes.

  17. Carolyn H says:

I like fairly large bags-something between teeny and back breaker.

  18. charlene says:

I got tired of carrying a purse and a bag (you know I have to carry my fabric swatch book, and my projects list….etc) every time I go shopping. So I ditched the small bags and opted for the shopping bag size purse. Now I carry everything in one bag…

  19. Renée O. says:

That’s tough… big enough to carry everything I need, but small enough to not be too much of a hassle… that’s why I like making my own. They are always the “just right” size!!!

  20. Debbie F says:

depends on where I’m going. Small purse for date night or large bag or tote for outings with the kids :)

a back breacker,I have to carry everything for hubby and family

I like both sizes. There is a time and a place for both.

  24. Mary Mac says:

I just need a small purse with my wallet, sunglasses and lip gloss.

  25. Deb Pozzo says:

Oh this is easy … I need them both. The Huge one to hold all the small ones I need for all my projects while traveling. And then… another Large one in my suitcase for all the fun things I see that I can make…

  26. Marilyn Hutchins says:

Back breaker tote bag-the bigger the better!!

  27. MC says:

    The bigger the better.

  28. Jane C. says:

the in between cross body bag that has pockets for cell and can carry a small camera. I also have an Amy Butler schelp bag made out of all the the Iindian skirts from the 70s. It carries the bigger stuff like veggies and fruits.

  29. Maggie says:

I tend to go for the small or medium size bag.

  30. Closetcrafter says:

    Generally small.

  31. Patti says:

The back breaker purse! I have tried small, could go medium size.

  32. Kathy Cederholm says:

When I was younger, I carried the backbreaker bag but now I carry a small bag. I feel liberated somehow!

  33. Elle Ohler says:

Like a small, lightweight, shoulder strap for shopping or dining….. just big enough for cell, keys, glasses, credit card, tissue and lipgloss .
A bit larger one with more pockets for day trips and traveling. Having hands free is important to me, so I like shoulder strap bags in all sizes as lightweight as possible.

  34. dorothy jo says:

I **ADORE** small purses, but I need to be able to carry my glucometer with me at all times… diabetes sucks! (Altho for a wedding once I took it out of its case, ditched the wallet except for a few bills and a credit card, grabbed a few glucose tabs and jammed it all into a very TINY purse! It was awesome!)

  35. Kath says:

I use a small purse type that occasionally explodes into a full size carry on.

  36. Kelli says:

I am in between both types. In the summer though it is definitely larger.

  37. Elle Ohler says:

Like a small, lightweight shoulder strap for shopping and dining…just big enough for essentials. Medium with lots of pockets for day trips…….never heavy “back breakers”

  38. Carol T says:

I like a small bag that I can sling over my shoulders so that I can have hands free to shop for fabric.

  39. Patricia Hersl says:

After years of toting a briefcase and purse, I deleathered. Now it’s small enough to hold the only essentials I need and made of cotton. I wanted to have enough shoulder usage to pick-up my grandchildren.

  40. Tracy Enos says:

I’ve noticed that my bag size changes with my children’s ages. The smaller the child, the bigger the bag! Right now my boys are 4 and 2 so I don’t require much for them but I’m pregnant with my third boy! Come June, the bigger bag will be a must!

  41. Carol K E says:

    I prefer little bags.

  42. Pat B says:

Usually a big bag. I seem to think I need to be prepared for everything. Usually results in sore shoulders

  43. Sue Martin says:

I need to have it all with me, so I carry a fabulous large bag. Although, my wallet comes with a small strap that allows me to ditch the large bag and take just the wallet into a shop with me when I need a shoulder break.

  44. Linda Starfire says:

I love the big bags, it’s almost like my office on my shoulder. But I see so many smaller bags to make that I want to be creative. For myself, gifts and my church bazaar. I am the Bazaar chairwoman. Always searching for new ideas. Love Sew News. My granddaughter (11) and I watch the show “Sew It All”. She just finished making two bracelets today. Love it!
