This year’s National Make It With Wool contest drew extraordinary seamstresses from around the nation. All the contestants made stunning creations out of wool and truly showed it’s beauty and versatility for use in garments.
This year’s contest was sponsored by many great organizations and companies that value the art of sewing garments and the beauty of wool. This year’s winner is Kylie Manville from Kansas.
Kylie’s prizes are a $1500.00 Scholarship from Pendleton Woolen Mills, a SD3129 Brother Sewing Machine from Brother International and a $500 “Exemplary Construction” Award given by SEW NEWS Magazine and $100 fabric gift certificate – Britex of San Francisco. Congratulations Kylie!
Johanna Svensson from Washington state won the $500.00 “Creative Machine Embroidery” Award also at the National Make It With Wool contest.
