In celebration of  moms everywhere who enjoy the weekend whether it’s Mother’s Day or not, today’s giveaway is a Sweet Seams Weekend Bag pattern!  Big enough to carry all the essentials whether you are going to the beach for a sunny get away or to the mountains for some mountainous type things.  Make it in a sunny bold print perfect for summer and then make another one (because a girl cannot have too many bags) in an autumn hue for fall and winter.

    A weekend away anywhere would be great. Somewhere in the mountains where it is quiet and remote. Just a chance to be with by hubby, relax, read, sleep, and maybe a little hand sewing. Relaxation is the key!!

    Austin, TX is most reasonable for a weekend trip. But I would really enjoy a trip to Oregon to see my mom.

    Dream Weekend? Monaco, during the Formula One Races over Memorial Day. Luxury, fast cars, glamor, and history. NOTHING beats Monte Carlo for fashion, opulence and the most dramatic sport of them all.

    I would make it with child friendly cheery material. Its first job would be to carry files and equipment on my daily trek through the 6 schools I work in as a Occupational Therapist. Then I would repack it for the weekend conferences I attend so I may learn more about the kiddos I work with. Finally finally finally it would be repacked again for the monthly or so trips I make to the coast, NJ or CT or RI, I live in a great area. Looks like a great multitask bag!

    A weekend to create and relax uninterrupted! Maybe a short trip to a hotel to setup my sewing machine! Then get a massage and mani/pedi at the spa! A ME weekend!

    I’d love to go to Mississippi and visit (and meet for the first time) sisters that were born after I’d moved up here (Indiana). Lots of relatives from the Louisiana area moved near the ones in Mississippi when Katrina came along….almost everyone I remember down there is “gone” now, but I’d like to meet the ones that were born after I’d left that area, aprox. 48 yrs. ago! One of only three things on my bucket list! If a family reunion doesn’t count, then I’d like to go on a cruise to Hawaii (a cruise is also one of the three things on my bucket list!) – a massage and relaxation on the beach in the warm sunshine….HEAVEN!!

    Hawaii, my husband has never been & I would like to go with him. He has been a huge support & help during my cancer treatment & other health issues over the past 2 years.
