SIA6 Cover 780x1024 Sew it All Volume 6 & Free Stuff FridaySew it All, Volume 6 is hitting newsstands June 18th! We’re really excited about this issue, with so many projects from stylish to simple to perfect it’s an issue that can’t be missed!

For me, I love the maxi skirt “Great Lengths” so perfect for summer wear and the trendy tank project “Peplum Rally” would look great together.  Plus, the adorable applique sweater in “Foxy Lady” is just right for fall days.  But, with over 40 projects it’s hard to pick one or two favorites.

    My sewing area is in the basement so never hot. I am working on Christmas gifts so am making placements, bags, and hotpads.

    I love to make fun, brightly colored pillow cases. They are used by the local Red Cross and fire departments to give to children along with a new pillow, when they are out of their home due to fire or storm damage etc.

    I like small projects and have been making a lot of aprons for friends and their daughters birthdays. Love to quilt but usually do that in the winter. The book looks great.

    I have been sewing most of my life and still look forward to seeing the new sewing, patchwork or quilting magazines every month. Sewing is the one thing I would like to see more people do. I find it very relaxing.

    I like small projects like mug rugs, postcards, etc. Don’t need to add to the heat by trying to machine quilt.

    I have four beautiful granddaughters that live in California. I would like to sew each of them some cool summer clothing as well as some accessories.     For me it’s just being able to get more sewing done. I’m planning to work on at least one quilt and some outfits for myself and my daughter. Plus, I’ve been on a sewing doll clothes for my daughter’s 18 inch doll kick. I’m loving having some extra sewing time during the summer!

    I like to sew small projects in the warm months. I can would on them in the evening when it is cool and they won’t take a long time to complete.
