And, we have a winner! It’s nice to hear that people still enjoy wearing and making aprons. I have a couple of boring chef aprons, plain white that I always wear but I really should make up something a little more flashy!
The winner for the apron book is Arleen S! Arleen said
Aprons – grew up with them, wear them now, and am passing the tradition on to my daughter and her daughter. Aprons were always full of a “treat” in the pocket, warmth when tears were flowing, and fun picked veggies from the garden. When grandma put that apron on each Sunday after church, only good things were coming our way.
Love, warmth, and a gentle way of living were all wrapped up in that apron. Hope the tradition never goes away.
How wonderful, such great memories and I hope you can pass that along to your family too!
Join in next Friday for another great giveaway. And, Arleen, please send me your mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll get your book out to you!
