For the Day 7 prize, we have a great grab bag of 12 specialty zippers from Coats & Clark, including metal zippers, invisible zippers, zippers with printed tape, sparkly zippers and more! There are so many fun and funky zippers available now that it’s tempting to plan a whole garment or bag around the zipper! There are also all kinds of accessories you can make just from zippers alone, including these cute zipper flower pins you may have learned how to make on Sew it All TV, or if you’ve visited us in the Make-It Center at Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in your area. The zipper flower would actually make a very cute Christmas tree ornament as well, come to think of it. Click here for the FREE tutorial for making this flower!
