Oh …and an inside lining that isn’t black!

  2. Cyndy Lacey says:

It has to hold all my “essentials”! Be big enough to tote my goods to work AND be stylish!!

  3. Jane C. says:

I like a bag that has a secure closing, cell phone pocket, zippered pocket and not a dark lining.

  4. Evelyn says:

Along with pockets, which we all clearly need, I prefer a long strap to wear my purse crossbody so my arms are free.

  5. Maria says:

compartments and pockets are essential in a purse and in a tote bag. I’m always carrying unrelated items and it’s nice when everything has its own place.

  6. Gill says:

I like zippered pockets and a clip for my keys!

  7. rose says:

I find an outside pocket plus many inside pockets to be the most important. I also like the straps to be just long enough to put over my shoulder and fit right under my arm.

  8. Dawn Landry says:

As some have said previously, I want secure closure, pockets, adjustable straps to use as crossover and shoulder carry, and I would add section dividers so things don’t all cluster in the center bottom of the bag and look like a hobo sack. I am known as the bag lady because I don’t carry purses…I carry satchels or bags with a wallet. My whole life is in my bag.

  9. Cherie says:

I love bags! I like mine to have enough room for everything and nice size straps.

  10. kathleen says:

I like lots of pockets to keep all the many things I carry in my handbag. I like the stap long to go over my shoulder, too.

  11. Jessica says:

I love lots of pockets and especially gorgeous fabric for my handbags!

  12. Denise Zeman says:

I like a bag with longer straps that stay on your shoulder and secure pockets for organizing everything.

  13. lesley says:

i like a roomy bag but with structure/organizational pockets

  14. Beal says:

Most essential in my purse? Money, hand lotion & lip balm. Most essential about my purse? Zipper top, comfortable shoulder straps & pockets. :-) BTW, is the date for picking the names supposed to be 1/21 (instead of 1/14)?

  15. Teresa davis says:

Love all things Amy butler and would love together the bag pattern- would make one each for my three fashionable daughters.

  16. Teresa davis says:

I need pockets for cell phone pens and sketchbook.

  17. Linda says:

I like longer straps so I can hang it on my shoulder and have both hands free. I NEED outside pockets, I don’t like fumbling inside when the phone rings. I also want inside pockets for business cards, gum, purse hanger, etc. I also like a opening that can be closed, either with a snap, zipper or flap. Construction should also be somewhat firm so when it is put down it doesn’t gap open with contents showing. The Belle Bag above looks more like a gym bag for clothes and misc. stuff.

  18. Daisy says:

First, Rhonda Buss is an extremely talented seamstress and designer, so it’s wonderful that she is leading this project. The most important features in a purse for me are a pocket for the cell phone and a ring for my car keys.

  19. Terrie Morrison says:

Inside pockets are a must! Handles long enough to carry over my shoulder. My “shopping purse/bags” need handles long enough to wear across my body, but those are usually smaller.
