Sew it All TV 13 Days of Giveaways: Win a skirt sewing book!

Hello sewing people! Sew it All TV season 7 begins airing on PBS at the end of March, and we’re really excited to bring you new guests, sewing projects, tips and techniques! So, to celebrate, we’re giving away a prize a day for the next 13 days, plus a sneak peek into the new season! Every day you enter for the next 13 days, you’ll be entered to win the Grand Prize, a copy of Sew it All TV season 6 on DVD!

    I am a middle age petite woman, 80+lbs and I have such alt time difficult time finding clothing that fits; I love to wear skirts and this book would be a blessing; I learned sewing in seventh grade, more than 40 years ago and I really need this book.     I make skirts for myself, as well as for friends and family. My six year old granddaughter is just beginning to show interest in my hobbies, so I’ll be teaching her to make some simple skirts and doll accessories shortly. The variety in this book would be excellent in that endeavor.

    The last person I made a skirt for was my daughter! She wanted a pencil skirt that she could wear to work as a substitute teacher. She is fun to sew for because she has a nice long body and lean build, the pencil skit was really fun and looked great on her. I have recently lost some weight and now, as I continue losing, I plan on starting to make some skirts for myself!

    I love skirts, my daughter loves skirts. Skirts are so easy to make and fun to mix and match. When I don’t know the person’s exact size I just add a drawstring and a little elastic. I would love some new skirt ideas. This book would be perfect.

    When I was in high school, I learned how to make a circle skirt. That was many years ago and time takes it’s toll on the memory. It would be great to win this book so I can once again sew a circle skirt. I plan to make them for myself and my grandchildren.
