Sew it All TV 13 Days of Giveaways! Day 2: Win Getta Grip Clips & Sewline Aqua EraserNow, onto today’s giveaway and sneak peak at Sew it All TV season 7. I was lucky enough to shoot an episode with the always delightful Ellen March. We used a fabric painting technique that involved crayons, sandpaper and heat. You’ll have to catch the episode to get all the details or visit sewitalltv.com after March 1, 2014 to read about this exciting technique.

Prizes 241x300 Sew it All TV 13 Days of Giveaways! Day 2: Win Getta Grip Clips & Sewline Aqua EraserToday I am giving away some of my favorite sewing tools and items that came in handy when sewing the coasters I made for the show. There were several layers of fabric, and one was vinyl that I didn’t want to pierce with pins. While it is possible to just pin in the seam allowance, it was exceptionally helpful to use the Getta Grip Clips to hold all the layers together while I stitched. Additionally, the Sewline Aqua Eraser is a fantastic tool to use when erasing marks from fabric. Discovering a way to safely remove pencil marks keeps me worry free when prepping a project.

I recently discovered the great usefulness of binder clips (the ones you buy at office supply places). Added to those would be my sewing gauge and seam ripper. These clips you are offering in the drawing would be a welcome replacement for my binder clips. LOVE your Sew It All episodes – always filled with fun projects.

  13. Marilyn Krzus says:

My favorite sewing tool is my little sewing gauge. I measure everything withit. I keep it right in front of my sewing machine so it’s never out of site, whether using it at the sewing machine or the ironing board. I could not sew without it, so reliant on it have I become!

  14. Gloria says:

I love sewing tools in general so it’s a wee bit hard to pin-point a fav but if I HAVE to choose, I think it would be either my duck-bill scissors or my “third hand” gadget. Can’t wait to see your show!
