Today we’re highlighting Episode 712 “Blanket Pillow,” featuring guest Stacy Schlyer of the great blog Stacy Sews. What’s a blanket pillow, you might ask? Well, it’s a very cozy throw that folds up into a cute pillow when you’re not using it (you can see fleece and faux fur examples folded up in the picture below). Clever, right? On the episode, Stacy shows how to make the blanket pillow, and also demonstrates how to embellish it with adorable machine embroidery accents.

    I love to embroider my grandson’s pj’s and t-shirts with his favorite toy of the month, such as monster trucks, trains, dinosaurs or dump trucks.

    I’m not very good at embellishing. I’m a beginner and am hungry to learn more. Bit I do like to add dragonfly so to most things I make. I eat her add a dragonfly button, or patch nor embroidery. Just dragonfly related. Kind of my signature.
