    I love sewing in the fall, right after school starts. It always feels like a new beginning for me after all of the busy activities of summer.

    Spring. The blooms on the plants in my vegetable garden let me know I will be rewarded soon with fresh veggies. They will be eaten fresh, shared with family & neighbors; frozen, or canned after picking them early in the morning. There are daffodils & Irises blooming in the Spring along with my favorite my Texas Bluebonnets. Bluebonnets bloom most of the spring & if we are lucky part of the summer.

    I love to sew whenever I can find time but especially early summer when the daylight hours are longest.

    I do most of my sewing in the summer. As a teacher, that’s when I have the time to focus for any length on a project. And, when it’s too hot to be outside doing yard work, I can sit in air conditioned comfort and stitch away while listening to music and planning my fall/winter school projects.

    I love to sew all year round but spring is me best season. I feel so much more creative around spring.

    Summer is my favorite season is summer because I love to spend all day out in my flower/vegetable gardens. Winter is my favorite season to sew or craft, a little hard to do this in the snow.

    I like winters and I love to sew woolen skirts in winter time. I also like sewing beautiful dresses in spring.

    I don’t really have a favorite season to sew, but seem to have the most time for sewing in the late summer, fall, and late winter. Around Thanksgiving thru New Year holidays there is much less time due to family obligations. Springtime and early summer are taken up with gardening…

    My favorite season to sew is in the Spring when everything is renewing…the grass, new flowers, blue skies. And you can purchase fun, bright materials to work with.

    I like to sew year around, but especially summer and winter. It’s hot in Florida so sitting inside in the air conditioning and sewing through the heat of the day is a great way to get a head start on fall and Christmas sewing and those cold snaps in winter are great for sewing spring clothes. Mending and sewing gifts and for the home fill out the spring and fall sewing hours. It’s relaxing and helps our budget.

    I love to sew, Period! I seem to get more done in the winter when the outdoor activities are more limited! I have 9 granddaughters so I get many requests!
