Answer the question below to be entered to win today’s book 1-2-3 Quilt by Ellen Luckett Baker.

Are you a quilter? What’s your favorite quilt magazine? What do you love about quilting?

I really enjoyed reading the comments from the Meet The Designer post. Most of you have the same problems that I do, we buy too much fabric and too many patterns. But, really is there such a thing as too many? And the winner of the Meet the Designer post is Jayne, she buys too many Vogue patterns!  I will be in touch with you shortly to tell you how to claim you prize. Thanks for commenting everyone.

I quilt some mostly sew. I love making bags and have used quilting in lots of projects. I love Sew News and Quilts and more, because the have more than just quilts. I love quilting becauce the fabric choice changes the projects ten people can make the same pattern but they look so different. I also love to snuggle on the couch with my quilt. Nothing beats a quilt for comfort,

I mostly sew clothes, but I occasionally quilt. I’d love this book for coming up with new ideas for this year’s batch of Christmas gifts! Quilted things make such great gifts, and that’s probably what I love most about it. I don’t read any quilting magazines!

  3. Sarah says:

I am a quilter; my favorite thing is hand quilting! I don’t have a favorite magazine, because I haven’t read many of them.

  4. Ruth Ann Mott says:

I have made a few table runners and microwave pot holders and really like how they have turned out I might get into the quilting soon.

  5. I’m not a quilter but now that I have accumulated a stash of left over fabrics from garment sewing, I’m going to try my hand at this.

  6. Donnie says:

I am an aspiring quilter. My favorite quilting magazine is Love of Quilting because it is the only magazine I am acquainted with. The thing I love about quilting is that it is both relaxing and productive.
