Answer the question below to be entered to win today’s book 1-2-3 Quilt by Ellen Luckett Baker.

Are you a quilter? What’s your favorite quilt magazine? What do you love about quilting?

I really enjoyed reading the comments from the Meet The Designer post. Most of you have the same problems that I do, we buy too much fabric and too many patterns. But, really is there such a thing as too many? And the winner of the Meet the Designer post is Jayne, she buys too many Vogue patterns!  I will be in touch with you shortly to tell you how to claim you prize. Thanks for commenting everyone.

Quick Quilting. I am a huge Missouri Star Quilt Company fan and am thrilled to get these magazines each quarter. Those patterns with the videos and a good weekend have yielded me several quilts. Otherwise I am just looking at the other magazines and putting them on the one day stack. So many pieces to cut. Jenny has it all figured out to make the pre-sewing time minimal.

  12. Vici Jump says:

When trying to post comment a window popped up saying duplicate comment that I had already said that. This is not true> I had not attempted to post her before. I guess I wont be commenting on this web site again

I love quilting because it is such a personnal expression of love. I hope one day to make one for myself. I have the pattern Cathedral Window in mind. I’m making one for each grandchild now. I hope when they’re 20 years old and perhaps I’m gone they will cherish these quilts. I think Fons and Porter is an excellent magazine but do like the Mccalls web site. Happy quilting to you all.

I have gone from 5 quilt book subscriptions to 1 (i am now retired). Occasionally while at the Dollar General i will pick up the All To Quilt magazine as it is 2.99. They have a crochet. Bead and sew magazine as well. I sew because its my therapy. You also see quick results with whatever it is you sew whether quilts, clithes, totes , purses, pkacemats or embroidery!
