    A drum majorette that my Dad won at a carnival. It was bigger than I was. I called it Dum Dum. When my sisters got Polio all the stuffed toys were thrown away because they might carry the virus.

    My fav was a stuffed Scotty dog that I never had. My mom made and sold them and never got around to making me one. Don’t worry. She made me plenty of other things, but that Scotty was always on my mind!

    I had a grey bear that I loved to tote around everywhere. My mom saved it, and it now resides on a shelf in the nursery. I’m surprised at how well that stuffed bear held up all the abuse of childhood and years in storage!!

    I never had many stuffed animals growing up. I had a stuffed snake that coiled up when I was older and loved it. I think I liked the concept of how it laid flat in a circle. I do love to make stuffed animals for friends kids and hopefully someday, for my own grandchildren. The last one I made was a dinosaur and the little boy loved it!

  40. I had a bear who went with me everywhere. When I went into hospital and had my appendix out, they operated on him too and he had stitches just like me. Poor fellow fell apart in the end.
