    I started out many years ago doing hand embroidery and did lots of kit projects. I also tried some amazing little known 3-D stitches, one fav was a stitch that looked like a spider web. It seems a perfect jump to machine embroidery from crewel, cross stitch and hand embroidery.
    I really like to embroider useful things. So, for my grandsons I made pillow cases for different holidays and season. Sometime I purchase them and sometimes I make them. It’s a great use of my tools too, like my ruffler (which doesn’t get used nearly enough with no grandDaughters).

    I have just begun making my own greeting cards by sewing fabric onto cardstock. I cut out the shape (bird, flower, tree, etc.) and then sew around it. I love being creative and they turn out so well!
