    My challenge is hips – for any pattern like a dress, I’m a smaller size on top than the bottom. It can be difficult to even know which to buy, let alone getting the fit right.

    My fitting problem is getting my hip to waist ration just right. My hips are German-heritage (meaning wider) and my waist is much smaller. Plus, I have long legs that make finding rack-slacks or jeans a nightmare! If I could make my own slacks and have them look and fit great, I would!

    I struggle with waist & hips. I have a very boyish figure, if it fits in the waist the hips are huge, if it fits in the hips the waist is too tight. I also have long arms and a long inseam. Off the rack clothes never fit me! It is why I started sewing in High School. 5’8″ with a 34″ inseam and a shoulder to wrist measurement of 24″…
