Wire Attire - make wire buttons
Get all wrapped up making wire buttons.

These wrapped wire buttons might be just the thing you're looking for to make your next garment one-of-a-kind. Wrapped around a nail or a bead for shape, the buttons are simple to make using basic tools and materials.
When first starting out, begin by using 20-gauge wire; it's thinner and easier to shape into coils. The wire should be pliable enough to bend by hand or with pliers.
Once you're comfortable making the basic wrapped button and other variations, use the same techniques with different gauges of wire to achieve the look you want. Get creative by using different wire types, such as colored copper, copper, brass, even precious metal wires such as silver or gold.
