LOVE NOTE

Cut a 4"x 11" rectangle from red cardstock and a 3 1/2" x 4" piece of pink-print vellum (trimmed to the geometric shape of your choice--see photo). Score the cardstock 2 3/4" from each short end and fold the card ends to meet in the center. Center the pink-print vellum over the opening and then machine baste the vellum to the card left front with white thread.

Cut a 3 1/2"x 5" white vellum rectangle. Punch four small hearts across the lower edge. Unfold the card, center the vellum inside the card and baste along the upper edge (2); re-fold.
tip: To make a smooth clean fold, place the edge of a ruler along the card foldline, then roll a rotary scoring blade along the ruler edge-or run a table knife (smooth side, not serrated) along the edge.
